What's new for GrowthZone Pay?
- An updated User Interface
- Streamlined ACH process
- New payment options
New option for using a bank account during checkout
A new feature that is available with the updated user interface is both members and non-members will have the option of using a US bank account during the checkout process with instant verification through Financial Connections. With a few clicks, users will securely authenticate through their Financial Institution and choose the bank account they would like to connect.Note: For members who have a bank that is not available through Financial Connections, bank accounts can be added manually via the MIC (Member Information Center) utilizing the 1-2 day micro-deposit account verification process. The bank account will need to be added and verified as a payment profile before it is available to be selected during the checkout process. The verification process is also slightly different. Instead of entering 2 micro-deposit amounts, the new process will send a $0.01 deposit accompanied by a code. The code will be the data used to validate going forward.
Link by Stripe
Link is a Stripe product and auto-fills payment information to create an easy "Secure one-click checkout" experience. Members and public users who already have a Link account setup to use for purchases with other businesses will be able to link to it during the checkout process through ChamberMaster/MemberZone. It supports both credit cards and US bank accounts. Using Link to prepopulate still offers your members the option of securely saving the card and/or account as a payment profile option to use for future purchases.
Google Pay & Apple Pay
Google Pay and Apple Pay are now available as payment options as well. They are only available during the checkout process and are not able to be stored as payment profiles. The new user interface will detect the device and browser being used and provide the appropriate option to the user. For example, a user is
- on a PC logged into their Google account within Google Chrome, they will have the Google Pay option.
- on a Mac logged into their Apple account within Safari, they will have the Apple Pay option.
