Features in this release are focused on giving you more tools to be successful with events and newsletters and a new Zoom integration for your events! We've also added a number of enhancements to Email Designer. See the details of these items and more below.

AVAILABLE NOW: Zoom Integration with Events

Final approval from Zoom was given! You now have the ability to integrate your ChamberMaster / MemberZone (CM/MZ) Events with Zoom. The new integration will save you time by creating the event in Zoom. In addition, your members will no longer have to use the Zoom registration form - they only need to register with CM/MZ! It automatically registers them in Zoom and sends the Zoom confirmation email. View detailed instructions.

Zoom Notes: The sync works only with Zoom meetings, not Zoom webinars. A minimum of Zoom Pro is required. Custom fields in Zoom are not able to be populated with the sync.

Email Designer Updates:

           Link Tracking Enabled by Default

Are your members clicking the call-to-action links you included in your newsletters? How many times have your links been clicked? Which of your recipients clicked which links?

Available already in October, but now enabled by default, you'll find ability to track the opens on links inside your Email Designer emails. If you wish to disable link tracking, go under Setup>General Options and Settings and remove the "Enable Link Tracking in Email Designer".

If enabled, you can you'll be able to view the " Tracking Statistics" report to get the statistics.    
           Member to Member Deals Widget now Available

Selecting the Hot Deals widget will now give an option to pick between public Hot Deals (the one that we've had all along) and now Member To Member Deals (new!).

The selections are the same for determining which deals to include in your email i.e. active deals as of x date, include Member Name, include Deal Dates, and options for sorting the output by title, name or expiration date.


           Anniversary Widget Allow Range Selection

The Anniversary widget is now more flexible to allow you to pick a range of years (min and max # years of membership) along with the desired anniversary month to get results that we heard you were asking for.

For instance, now you can display all anniversaries for the month of February and even include the number of years behind their name.

Other Notable Updates
  • Refund Screen shows Amount previously refunded - When clicking in to Refund a credit card payment, if an amount has previously been refunded, the screen will display that amount. This reminds you on-screen if a partial refund has already been given. In addition, giving a greater refund than what is left remaining will give a message of what is left remaining to refund. Works for both GZ Pay and refunds. See screenshot.
  • Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) support  - GZ Pay now fully supports the Strong Customer Authentication upcoming change required for customers in the European Union. No action is required on your end for this to take affect. If a transaction is flagged as one that needs additional authentication, the updated code will automatically bring the purchaser to the screen where additional information may be entered. Note: this will affect customers in Ireland starting 1/1/2021 and other European countries in the months to follow.
  • Sales by Account report - a separate sub-total by Account Type will now display, making it easier to separate the totals for Income accounts vs. sales tax payable.
  • Improvements for improved SEO scores -
    • Meta descriptions for recurring events are now automatically being populated with a unique description even if the event description is a duplicate. The event date is being added so that it is differentiated from the others in that recurring group.
    • Many structured data tags have been updated to tag appropriate items in the public-facing pages, matching best practice recommendations from
